Rehabilitation program for water basins and irrigation channels

The activities concerned the preliminary design and the feasibility study for a program of restoration and rehabilitation interventions of dams and small reservoirs for the collection of water for irrigation purposes in the region of Lubombo, eastern Swaziland.

The projects were carried out for the participation of the NGO COSPE in the call of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation “Rural Development in Mozambique and Swaziland” which is part of the AID program 10862 “Mitigation of the effects of drought caused by El Niño in the countries of Southern Africa to strengthen the resilience of the beneficiary communities “.
